Brother of Shanūda (P.Berl.inv. 8008) and father of Buṭrus and Marqūra (P.Berl.inv. 8009). He and Shanūda reclaim a debt from Quzmān b. Bajūsh b. Marqus al-Fishāwī in Rabīʿ II 407 AH (P.Berl.inv. 8008). A sale contract dated 445 AH mentioned him as ḍāmin of Ṭuṭūn (P.Berl.inv. 8009). His land is situated at the northern border in a sale contract dated Shaʿbān 456 AH: Prior to the date he had bought it from Ḥumayd b. Ḥuwayy al-ʿĀmirī (P.Berl.inv. 8010).
