Marqūra and his brother Buṭrus bought a black mare from Abū Ḥabīb Marqus b. Halistūs in 445 AH (P.Berl.inv. 8009). In 454 AH he compiled a written obligation in the matter of Buṭrus b. ʾIbrāhīm and ʿAbd al-Munʿim b. ʿAtik concerning the delivery of four irdabb wheat (P.Berl.inv. 8166). Marqūra and his brother Buṭrus bought from ʿUqayl b. Ḥudayj b. ʾAḥmad al-ʿĀmirī al-Khafīr a faddān of black soil, dated 15 Shaʿbān 456 AH (P.Berl.inv. 8010). He appears (together with his brother) in another legal document (P.Berl.inv. 9165).
